Hope to see you all there. PEACE AND LOVE!
What’s up G-World? We did not have much to report on due to the weird ass weather during November and December, but now the pow has come and things are a’happenin’!
First, you may have seen the recent write-ups/interviews in Method Mag (if not, see here) and from our friends at Steez Magazine (read now).
In addition to all this excitement, our buddies over at Mondo Mediaworks threw together THE ORIGINAL “Shit Snowboarders Say” video which made waves on YoBeat and Tactics. If you haven’t seen that, please please watch now! Team rider Casey Willax did a bang up job in his first acting gig.
And, if all that is not good enough for your online snow predators, than take a look at this edit from Dub Show Productions featuring said rider CDub and partner in pow BDub…we know, too much Dub for one sentence. Hot little number from the first pow days at Carinthia, Mount Snow…check it
That’s it for now folks, but with Dew Tour Killington upon us and SIA after that, expect some further antics in the near future. G-UNNNIITTT!Shit Snowboarders Say
As a follow up to our blog about the G(rom)-Unit team, we have received a number of inquiries from youngbloods looking to join the GME squad. We are stoked on the letters, stills and edits rolling in from young shredders across this great nation of ours, and are truly humbled by the enthusiasm and support of the brand. Over the next few months we will get rider bios, photos and edits up on the website, but we had to give a big shot out to one of our favorite groms, Annabella Polizzi. Coming out of the Pacific Northwest school of shred, this girl straight puts it down (check her out here where she placed second at the Greenhorn Games at Snoqualmie last March…nice feature in Snowboarder Mag). What really impresses us about Bella is not only the dedication to her individual progression on the hill – at 12 years old, she’s currently banging out front and back flips…no big deal – but the desire she has to increase the number of female riders as well. Much like GME, Bella believes that snowboarding is more than a sport. It’s a lifestyle that transcends across all people; no matter your age, where your from, gender, whatever! And we LOVE that about this kid! Bella, be on the lookout for your GME swag coming soon and thank you for sharing. We hope everyone takes this fierce approach to the industry and continues to ELEVATE the game!
G-g-g-g-G-UNIT! Join us…
Peep Bella’s tailgrab (yellow pants) on the way to a smooth 2nd place finish
Sure it’s a bit premature for big air comps, but rail jams never sleep. GME-rider Jeff DeForge busted out his early season steezy to take second at SFC’s Early Bird Rail Jam in Denver last week! Check out the short edit, as Jeff rips his Demigod to the #2 spot (1:25). The GME team has some crazy ideas brewing for this season with Ian Post and Jeff rumored to be embarking upon an epic cross country journey in search of the best freshness. Rider Casey Willax will be back and forth between the Ice and West Coast laying it down true to his big air roots, and lookout for the owners to pop up in a city near you…who knows maybe you’ll walk away with a new shred stick!
G-g-g-g-G-UNIT!!! Ahem, GROM Unit that is. Attention all little shredders both near and far… this is you chance to GET MADE! GME is expanding our team into the Grom sector with an exclusive opportunity for the young cats to get sponsored! You guys are the future of our sport, and GME wants you to also be a part of the Revolution. Over the coming months, Global Mind Elevation will be rolling out lots of decks and softgoods for juniors who are ready to throw down with the big boys and girls (and leave them in their powdery dust). In order to do that, we need some fresh faces to rep the goods, so here’s the scoop…
WHO’S ELIGIBLE: Groms and recently graduated groms (RGG’s) (ages 7-17)
WHAT’S AT STAKE: Being a sponsored GME team rider!
WHAT’S REQUIRED: Show us your steezy! Similar to our last post, we want to know your age, where you ride, your current setup and what trick you’re trying to crush this winter. Post it on our facebook along with photos and/or (preferably) a short edit and we will take role call on the freshest little homies! We are recruiting the ladies as well, so don’t be bashful, the G-Unit needs you…50 Cent would be so proud!

It’s official…GME has teamed up with Ian Post – the Vermont mastermind behind some of the best snowboarding edits coming from the east – to collaborate on his new brainchild “Stitched Up, Clipped Up”! The full movie is due out later this month and will be available for purchase on our site. GME is proud to be a premier sponsor for the project, which is a melting pot of raw talent and OG’s, shredding the urban scenes across the US of A. This edit will feature GME team rider Jeff DeForge and our homie Yale Cousino. You can get more information about the video at rideastcoast.com or you can go to the movie’s facebook page Stitched Up Clipped Up. Here is the teaser!!!!
What do snowboard designers do during the off months?? Well for GME there are no off months! We have been busy working on our softgoods! We have recently set up an in house screen printing station where Tori our lead designer can put all her ideas and designs directly onto t-shirts, hoodies and posters. The newest product we have come out with is the I RIDE T-SHIRT! This shirt is hand printed by Tori. Now that we are able to change it up when we want, we want to know where all of our fans, followers and riders spend their winters shredding!
WHERE DO YOU RIDE?
You can order a custom hand printed Tee with the color text and color tee of your choice, and you can chose whichever state that you ride in!
You will soon be seeing our team riders out in Oregon wearing the I ride OR shirt in upcoming edits! Be on the look to see who shreds in what states and you definitely can’t miss spotting these shirts with some of the bright colors we are using!
You can Pre Order these T Shirts now by contacting us on the website at www.gmelevate.com or by writing us on facebook. Just let us know the size and color you would like and of course… WHAT STATE YOU RIDE!
